1、怕浇水过多
文竹的根茎比较脆弱，怕积水，如果土壤长期潮湿那根系就会受影响长不好。而且还会滋生虫害，植株黄叶烂根。所以我们在配土的时候，建议选择疏松透气的土壤，一般等土壤干了再浇水，并且不要浇水在叶片上，沿着盆边慢慢渗露，这样不易板结还能补充水分。
判断土壤是否缺水，可以掂量一下花盆的重量，花盆轻了再浇水，如果把握不好，那可以等土壤表面3-4厘米干了再浇水，浇水的时候可以加一些有机肥，可以促进根茎的生长，长得更健壮。
2、怕阳光暴晒
文竹是比较喜阴的植物，一般有一些散光为主，如果光照强烈，被阳光暴晒，那文竹就容易黄叶长不好，特别是高温天气，直接枯黄，一碰就会掉。所以想要养好文竹，可不能暴晒。
为了让文竹的叶片更翠绿，那我们可以朝着植株周围喷洒雾化水，这样可以提高空气湿度，降低温度，有利于文竹的生长。
3、怕长期缺肥
想要文竹长得旺盛，那充足的养分是必不可少的，平常我们可以给它补充一些有机肥，这样可以让植株长得健壮，如果是叶片黯淡无光泽。那可以给它浇一些挥发的啤酒，这样可以让叶片更翠绿。
施肥主要以氮肥为主，并添加一些有机肥，文竹在生长期如果养护不当容易徒长，为了让植株更健壮，那需要定期将枝叶修剪一下，再补充一些营养液，这样可以促进分枝，长得更旺盛。
